In 2018 the Kickstarter for ‘’The Leaf that didn’t want to leaf’’ went live for 30 days. The aim was not only to reach our funding goal but also to give back to planet earth and its inhabitants. On the last day of the Kickstarter we reached our funding goal thanks to all the amazing people who pledged, and the actual journey was about to begin.

With a deeply rooted love for Cape Town, ‘’The Leaf’s’’ writer and creator Misha de Bok, had the pleasure of visiting two schools in Cape Town back in November 2019. He got to meet the children at the IKhaya Le Themba Project and the United Herzlia Schools and together they read ‘’The Leaf that didn’t want to leaf’’ and talked about its message. The story of The Leaf encourages children to follow their dreams and what feels right in their hearts. There is no right or wrong way, there is just following your heart and being true to yourself.
